Duties

This technician role is crucial in ensuring that our vehicles operate efficiently and meet high-quality standards. The Installation Technician will work closely with other technicians and service personnel to deliver exceptional service to our clients. Technician to supply their own tools – primary diagnostics scanner provided!
Duties
- Perform installations of automotive parts and systems according to specifications; Primary focus being transmissions/installation.
- Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on vehicles, ensuring optimal performance.
- Utilize diagnostic tools to troubleshoot issues related to automotive electrical systems.
- Execute diesel engine repairs and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used during installations.
- Collaborate with team members to improve installation processes and service delivery.
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in automotive repair and diagnostics. Heavy line experience required!
- Proficiency in using hand tools and diagnostic equipment effectively.
- Familiarity with diesel engine repair techniques is preferred.
- Ability to understand and work on automotive electrical systems.
- Experience as a service technician or in a similar role is advantageous.
